how it works
how do I draw?
open draw. pen, straight line (our signature move), wobbly rectangles and ellipses, fill, eraser, 16 crayon colours, undo/redo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z) and templates if you need a head start. it works with a finger on your phone too. your drawing is saved in your browser while you work.
what happens when I press launch?
our server turns your strokes (not a screenshot) into a 1000×1000 PNG, uploads it with the name/ticker to IPFS the same way pump.fun does, and builds one transaction: create the coin on pump.fun with you as the creator, an optional first buy (dev buy), and the crayon fee. you see every amount before your wallet asks you to sign. after it lands, our server reads the transaction from the blockchain and only then adds the coin to the gallery.
what does it cost?
the Solana network fee (tiny), pump.fun's account rent for a new coin (~0.02 SOL), the crayon fee of 0.02 SOL (free for holders of ≥ 1,000,000 $CRAYON) and whatever dev buy you choose (0 is fine). the dev buy is shown on your coin's card as a % of supply, for everyone to see.
who gets the fees?
pump.fun's creator rewards go 100% to you, the artist — crayon doesn't take a cut. the crayon launch fee goes to our treasury: 70% buys back and burns $CRAYON, 30% funds the daily theme prize.
what is a bonding curve?
every pump.fun coin starts on a bonding curve: a formula that sets the price from how many tokens were bought. buying pushes the price up, selling pulls it down. when enough is bought (the progress bar on each card), the coin “graduates” and moves to a regular liquidity pool (PumpSwap). there is no presale and nobody gets tokens for free.
remixes?
press “remix this” on any coin: its strokes load into your canvas, you add your own (at least 10 new strokes or 3% of the picture changed) and launch your version. the original artist is credited on your coin's page and in its description, and both coins show up in the remix tree.
theme of the day
every day at 00:05 UTC there's a new theme. coins launched with the theme box ticked compete: the highest 24h volume becomes Coin of the Day and its artist gets a SOL prize (paid after an admin checks for wash trading); the most-voted coin becomes Viewer's Choice. voting is one free wallet signature per day.
the risks (please read)
memecoins are extremely risky and most go to zero. buying a coin is not buying art, a share or a promise. creators can sell their dev buy at any time. never spend money you can't afford to lose. crayon is a drawing tool, not an exchange or an adviser — nothing here is financial advice. coins live on-chain; we can hide one from our gallery but can't delete or freeze it.
